Honeysuckle Hummingbird Watercolor Art Print

Honeysuckle Hummingbird depicts a broad tailed hummingbird drinking the nectar from the flowers of Major Wheeler Honeysuckle.

I painted this jewel colored hummingbird for my mom for Mother's Day and gave her a Major Wheeler Honeysuckle vine to attract hummingbirds to her yard with its vibrant red blooms. I also planted a honeysuckle in my own yard. My mom's vine quickly grew, bloomed, and lived up to its hummingbird food source potential.

Alas, my own honeysuckle never took root. Fortunately, my mom’s vine is still thriving, and this painting became a permanent celebration of these charming little birds and the flowers that nourish them. I'm so happy to share this print of my original painting, and I hope it brings that same feeling of joyful, summer warmth into your space.
